The visit
Your ROOST Flyer arrives
A trained, CAA-licensed ROOST Flyer arrives at your property in branded kit with a lightweight drone. The whole visit takes under an hour. Your Flyer will let you know they've arrived and departed.
All ROOST Flyers are CAA-licensed drone operators with full public liability insurance
Your Flyer captures high-resolution video and photos of your roof, gutters, fascias, chimneys and all visible exterior areas
No access inside your home is ever required
You'll receive a notification when your Flyer has completed the visit

Common questions.

Do I need to be home for the visit? +
No — as long as we have unobstructed access to the exterior of your property, your ROOST Flyer can complete the visit without you being present. You'll receive a notification when they arrive and when the visit is complete.
How long does the visit take? +
Most visits take between 30 and 50 minutes, depending on the size and complexity of your property. Your ROOST Flyer will stay until they're satisfied they've captured everything properly.
When do I receive my report? +
Your ROOST Report is delivered to your inbox within 24 hours of your visit. It includes written observations and all drone imagery, plus access to your permanent online property record.
Are ROOST Flyers insured? +
Yes. All ROOST Flyers hold a CAA operational authorisation for drone flight and carry full public liability insurance. ROOST does not allow any Flyer onto the network without verifying both.
What if the weather is bad on the day? +
Drone operations require appropriate weather conditions. If conditions on the day of your visit are unsuitable for safe flight, your ROOST Flyer will contact you to reschedule — at no cost to you.
Can I share my report with tradespeople or my estate agent? +
Absolutely — your report is yours to share however you choose. Many homeowners find the imagery particularly useful when getting quotes for work, and it can be a valuable addition to a property sale pack.
